I only live a few blocks from the restaurant but it took 90 min for the food to be delivered. The food was all cold when it arrived. :(
I called the restaurant to complain but all they did was saying that they got too many delivery orders and was running behind. I have ordered from Boka many times in the past but I am going to reconsider if I'll order from this place again.

The other reviews are unfortunately correct with regards to delivery. They falsely advertise delivery times of 30-45 minutes, which obviously play a role in picking a place to order from. An hour later when you call them to inquire about the order, they have no idea what you are talking about. Really poorly run - do not order from here unless you are okay with calling at least 2-3 times to confirm your order and be prepared for at least double the wait time.

Never again! Food is just okay and delivery took 2 hours! When I called after the first hour, they told me the food was on its way and would be here in 5 minutes without even asking what address I was calling regarding. After half an hour more had passed and I called again, they hung up on me. Only order if you want mediocre wings sometime within the next couple hours.

WORST DELIVERY EVER. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE.

They do not deliver on time. You have to give them extra 30 minutes to deliver.

The shrimp skewer came with literally two shrimp on it... 4 dollars for 2 shrimp? The beef bibimbap was good, but had very little meat on it. 80 percent of it was rice. Maybe it was a fluke, but it was pretty disappointing.

Fried chicken wings= da bomb. also go for the ddokbokki and fried rice with kimchi. THE BOMB. steer clear of sushi though, leave that to other restaurants.

Four stars for food and zero stars for delivery. Really yummy fried chicken but they never deliver in the quoted time. Plan on double to triple the delivery time. Don't order if you're at all hungry. And, if you try to call them, get ready for a permanent busy signal.

Not the most reliable delivery place in my area, but when you actually do get the food (usually double the time they tell you), it's pretty good. Sigh...

Quite tasty lunches, but dinners a little bit expensive for the same food

I've gone to the restaurant many times. This is my first time having them deliver. 5/5 the food was as good as if you had it in the restaurant. They called me when my phone didn't have signal. I called them back when i didn't get the delivery, and they were super nice about my mistake and offered to remake my cold order!

We love the Spicy Fried Chicken! We've tried the sides and the pork buns - eh. Just stick to the spicy fried chicken - it's all you need. Just the right amount of kick! Delicious!

AMAZING Korean food with generous portions - get the bulgogi bibimbap or LA galbi. Of course, there's also the famous Bonchon fried chicken. Just wish they added in kimchi for free! Pretty decent delivery times as well.

The lunch special deals are very nice, especially when you're a poor college student.

Prompt, delicious, and good $ for the quality. Also, last time we got ~$60 worth of chicken and entrees and they gave us free sodas! The Japchae noodles are awesome!

Bulgogi and the bone-in short ribs BBQ ..I liked them very much! Im Brazilian so Im no expert with the flavors and we had bad experiences with Korean food. I have to tell my husband abt this place and maybe he'll give Korean food another chance.

Great food! Recommend the spicy rib stew.

This is very good, down and dirty Korean food. The Korean steak and eggs (la galbi with two sunny side eggs over kimchi stir fried rice ?????) is great hangover food as well as the chigaes. I can't remember the name of the roll, but it's something like salmon and avocado with a special sauce, that's good too. I order from here once a month or so. Very consistent.

overpriced with mediocre food...some items, eg the bonchon chicken, are much better than others

the delivery guy obnoxiously rang the bell 10 consecutive times. food was good though

Everything is awesome. The fried chicken is the best I have found in the city.

The food was actually quite nice but the delivery took 1.5 hrs when they said it would take 30 minutes. Luckily I had ordered a cold dish.

Not even close to the quality of eating in.

At first, I was bummed because they forgot the soup that was supposed to come with my lunch box. But then I took a bite of my kimchi tuna tartar and all was forgiven. I'm not usually a tuna tartar fan, but based on the positive reviews, I ponied up the 6 bucks and decided to give it a shot. I am so glad I did! It was mind blowingly good! I mean, amazing! Completely different than any other tuna dish I've ever had, and oh, so much better. It was like chunks of tuna nestled in a divine kimchi based aioli with hidden slivers of avocado under a nest of homemade crispy tortilla-like chips made out of some pressed starch I couldn't identify... WOW! The rest of the food was top notch, too, but I went to sleep that night dreaming of that tuna tartar... Next time I'm ordering 2...

Really nice Beef Bi Bim Bop (or "Bibimbap" as it's usually spelled). Decently sized portion (I'm a hungry guy), tasty flavors, great hot sauce. I also tried the wings with half and half sauces and loved them. Meaty, crispy, flavorful and just perfect. The spicy sauce was spicy enough without being ridiculously brutal.
Delivery within the estimated timeframe (45min).
Highly recommended, we'll be ordering again for sure.

Good - but massively overpriced - four stars if it were half the price...

Food is good. Delivery guy was nice. Staff are always rude. Ordering for delivery is way better because you don't have to deal with the wait staff.

I love the chicken wings!!!! Very delicious!

Delivery time is more than double what is listed...I called and they said he was one his way...unless the delivery person was walking to my apartment by taking two steps forward and one step back there is no reason for it to take this long!

Best wings in the ........ WORLD!
Posted 5 years ago by chad m.
The chicken wings were delicious, the tuna tartare salad seemed odd at first but was likewise delicious, and the La Gal Bi short ribs were very good, a bit oily but overall enjoyable. Next time I think I'm just going to get a large order of chicken wings and enjoy them with some iced cold OB beer.

The order never came, their kitchen was down (?) pretty sketchy

It causes me to weep. I am reminded by Boka's Korean Fried Chicken that life is full of meaning; that colors can be so bright, and scents can be akin to the first inhalations of childhood.
KFC stands for Korean Fried Chicken.
To cross-culturally appropriate, I will sum this up with a haiku:
Bon chon glory from
US South, South Korea
perfects and completes.

The worst kimchi pancakes i've ever had; it has no kimchi in it ....but the chicken was good.

overpriced and bland.
nothing more to say.
won't ever order from them again

I would have given a 3 for the food alone, but they messed up my order. I ordered the kim chi tuna tartar, but they actually gave me the tuna tartar salad. I also got the scallop sandwich. The seafood was of high quality, but both dishes were totally bland. The tartar was drenched in some sort of mayo-based sauce so you couldn't really taste the tuna anymore. When I called to alert them to the mistake, and ask them to change the amount I was charged (kim chi tuna tartar is $1.75 more than tuna tartar salad), they said they would give me a credit for $2 next time I order. I did order through seamless, so they can't change the bill amount, but I was expecting a little more effort to correct their mistake.

Great Bi Bim Bop

I love their fried chicken, and also tofu soup is super good. $20 minimum order is a little bit pricey. If $10, I'd order often for sure.

Sent me beef when I ordered pork. Food was fairly cool but flavor was good.

Super fast delivery - although I do live pretty close to the restaurant. Food is pretty decent with decent proportions. They don't come with the typical Korean sidedishes so that's a minus. Their fried chicken is pretty awesome.
